What is Onboarding?

What is Onboarding, and what does it mean?

Onboarding is a 6-week trial period for individuals who have been accepted into our program, but are not yet an Active Fellow. Onboarding Fellows are applicants who have been accepted and are actively onboarding to become fellows.

This trial period is to help Fellows gain a deeper understanding of our program and determine if our program is the right fit for them. During Onboarding, students will work on projects, receive 1:1 support from their Coaches, and have access to all Rivet School wraparound supports that they would as an official Riveter / Active Fellow. Only at the end of the 6 weeks is when Fellows will have to pay their first tuition payments.

This trial period is built into our program operations. Onboarding start dates can be found here.
